I was off fit pal for two weeks and came back to it only crediting me 427 calories on a 13 mile day. (Eleven I ran, two I walked) anyone else experiencing this? This has happen all week. Did they readjust an algorithm?

It determines the calorie based on exercise selected, duration, and your weight. The calories are derived from METs data and studies. If it's different, then they probably updated it, which they are known to do without announcing. It's much more accurate if you use a heart rate monitor. MFP's cardio calories are so inflated for me vs. HRM.
Short answer: Yes, they probably updated it if you have not changed weight and you selected the same duration as a prior run.0
