I made this the other night and it is soooo good! I've been eating on it since Thursday, LOL. I think it was the discussion about lasagne that got me thinking about it, and since I needed some way to use up some wine I'd opened before my BFP, I found this. If I make it again, I might decrease the amount of spaghetti noodles (I used protein-plus noodles) just because I found it a bit less sauce-y than I like, or I might add a small can of plain tomato sauce when making the sauce to make it juicier. Great fresh rosemary flavor, I added some dried oregano, basil and thyme to punch up the flavors of the canned crushed tomatoes.

My MFP recipe import to match ingredients:

Looks great! Can try zucchini noodles or spaghetti squash to decrease carbs (and calories) too!

For anyone looking for weight watchers friendly recipes or family friendly healthier recipes I love the website Skinnytaste.com. Gina is a hoot and her recipes are great. Plus she includes the nutrition info and WW pts. Her skinny chicken parm is one of our favs (and my husband is super picky about food!). I also really like her stuffed pepper soup. I brown lean ground turkey and then through everything in the crockpot (except the rice).

I second Skinnytaste. I have been using her recipes since 2010 and they are fabulous! I made a lentil soup of hers that I didn't care for, but everything else has been great! Her chicken parm is amazing. I fell in love with her Korean Beef Bowl recipe this year. She also posts variations for the Instant Pot as well.

Third for Skinnytaste.com. I haven't made anything bad from there. The Korean Beef Bowls are one of my favorite go to dishes.

I made the Korean beef bowls today. I used cauliflower rice. Really good!!!
  • Skinny Taste is on my menu tonight. IP beef, tomato and pasta soup. I often separate the pasta in recipes like this so I can control the quantity. Kids want more and I want less so win win. Originally found this recipe on Pinterest looking for IP soup recipes and wasn't necessarily looking for healthy. Looks good so hopefully it is.
