That sounds like a perfect LC meal with a little veggies! Sounds yummy.

It really was awesome! Woo hoo! Think I might have this figured out! Had another calorie dense meal yesterday and felt SO much better not eating so much volume. I also think I found a sweet spot for calories. (average of 1100/day) Enough to lose well & feel comfortable. I'm going to try to eat beans at every meal because I love them & want the fiber.

    Date.................AM Weight (lbs) ....Calories
    5/25/2017.......173
    5/26/2017.......171
    5/27/2017.......171.4
    5/28/2017.......172.4....................814
    5/29/2017.......169.8....................1600
    5/30/2017.......170.6....................1064
    5/31/2017.......169.4....................1276
    6/1/2017.........170.......................1126
    6/2/2017.........168.6....................1275
    6/3/2017.........168.2....................1081
    6/4/2017.........167.4

I feel like things are falling into place this time. I get hungry now and then but it's not seen as a problem, or anything that needs to be fixed. BIG change. I'm going to document the heck out of things to keep myself on track.

Still plugging away! My weight is up a skosh (168) and my calories have been pretty low (1000-1100) so I'm going to go out to eat at lunch tomorrow and have a nice sit down meal. I want to eat a little more than I have been. 12 days in and I've been a little hungrier today than previously so taking that as a sign for a feast.

Thank you, it was pretty good! My sweetie is doing JUDDD because that works well for him & he needs to lose another 25# or so. I'm trying to follow along for ease of meal prep but I can't eat enough on up days, lol. Unless I eat out, and I don't want to do that every other day. Oh, well. I'm sticking to one meal a day and occasionally a coffee mate tub once a day at 10 calories. I'm down 6# in 2 weeks & a day. I'll take it!

Doing pretty good! Still have 1 tub of coffee creamer some mornings. Had 1oz of cashews 2 nights because I wasn't feeling well & knew I wouldn't be able to sleep if I didn't have something. I'm doing JUDDD atm. Not sure if it's helping or not. I may go back to just a regular meal. I may do a potato hack for a few days. Did lchf a couple of days. I am experimenting with things that I have done in the past that worked to see if they still do. Collecting tools for my tool bag. I won't do LC for long because I feel so much better when I eat carbs, but a day or 2 now and then seems to help. I'm down 7.4# in 3 weeks.

Wow, you are doing amazing! I love your chart. I don't know if I'm brave enough to weigh everyday, but it's nice to see I'm not the only one who goes up and down like that. It just goes to show, in the end we're really losing! Great job!

Thanks, everyone! Lisa, I have to weigh every day or I tend to stray off the path. Besides, I'm a data analyst and it doesn't bother me to see the ups & downs. I'd prefer to catch something earlier rather than later. Whenever I've fallen off track it's because I stopped paying attention. Everyone is different, though. I think when I'm done with the weight loss part, I'm going to get all new clothes and then go by how they fit, rather than the scale. That's what I'd like to do, anyway.

What is a potato hack? I've never heard of that.

Well done in your daily chart, btw and the 7.4 pounds lost so far! That's super!

It's where you eat nothing but potatoes for a few days. When it works, you lose fat, not water, because you don't gain it back. It also promotes good gut bacteria if you use cooked & cooled potatoes because they provide food in the form of resistant starch. Tons of information on different forums, people have tried all variations. If you google, you will find. :) It's kind of like a gut reset. Similar, in my experience, to McDougall's rice diet which Joe did a video on at one point. Just gives the belly a rest & improves balance. Eating just once a day is icing on that cake, IMO.

high in resistant starch (must be cooled). gut bacteria will produce keytones also from what i've read.
