I'm old. Older than dirt. At 75, I cannot lose weight by eating 1000 calories. I don't need a Big Brother who won't allow me to close out my food diary with fewer than 1000 calories. I need to lose 25#.7

Eating 1000 cals per day or less, just add a banana or 2 to make MFP happy.

I'm 5'2 weighting my highest weight of 140 lbs. I just started eating 1000 calories a day, about to end my 2nd week. I haven't weighed since January 10th and won't until next Tuesday or Wednesday (waiting for new scale to arrive). I'm looking to lose about 20 to 30 pounds. That will put me in a health BMI4
