I have been on and off of the keto diet since around the middle of last summer. Today, I am starting again after having taken an extended break over the holidays. I am almost 50- my birthday is on the 26th. I want to get my health back and feel better this year. I am at a point in my life where I feel like my time is running out- like if I don;t get back into shape now, it will only get more and more impossible from here. I need accountability to do this, and I am ready to help others with the same. I have around 40 lbs to lose. If it is ok, I would like to keep posting here to let others know how I am doing. This looks like a brand new group with maybe one founder? I love the name!

I just joined as well. I have no idea what I am doing at this point. I have around 75 lbs to lose. Do you have some easy go to recipes to share?

We are all varying degrees of new! Lol I started on a ketogenic diet as of January 1,2017 and have now lost 9 pounds. Although I am sure some is water weight I also feel so much energy eating this way and already know when I am out of ketosis. I am a 55 year old mother of 4 sons I birthed and 1 I married his Dad, and mother in love to two lovely women and YaYa to five adorable grand children. Over six years ago my first husband died after 32 years of marriage. I was alone and bereft when God brought my DH into my life and we have been partying ever since! Lol. I have about 60 pounds to lose to be where I would like to be again. I have planned an Alaskan Cruise in September and it is my goal to be in much better shape by that time.1
