Seems pretty true for me recently!
I posted this lengthy thing about my goals and of course it only posted the first sentence. *sigh
Basically, I'm spending the next six months recovering. We're taking it easy, not planning any big vacations, no big races, and letting our pocketbook slowly recover as well as our minds and bodies. I'm trying to workout about 30 minutes every day. But I'm not following a strict training schedule. Once August rolls around I'll train for another marathon to lead into my second half ironman. My goal is to get my time down to around 7 hours, which will make a full ironman more bearable. A full ironman is on my bucket list, but won't happen for another two-3 years.
That sums it up. Focusing on lowering stress, learning to say no to things, and this should help me in a plethora of other areas.0 -
Morning girls!
I guess I have been absent all week so far. I have had sort of a busy week I guess. Worked monday/tues and then yesterday went with my parents to Halifax as my dad had an appt with a specialist. Thats a full day, as its 3 hrs away. Left at 7am and got back at 7pm. Lots of driving!
I haven't been doing that great. Yesterday wasn't bad...but I really need to get a grip on my nighttime snacking. I am up since Christmas and if I don't put a stop to my nightime fiascos I will be way up.
Today, am going to get a workout done (haven't done one since the weekend) and drink at least 2 jugs of water (I think it is a 32oz jug) and really really either have a weigh and logged snack tonight, or none at all.1
