Yay or nay on multivitamins? I currently take vitamin D and a probiotic. I can't stand the smell of most vitamins or the big tablets. I started thinking of gummy ones but they all seem to have 3 carbs or more.

I'm in the nay category, I don't think they are necessary.

Also in the "nay" category particularly if one strives to eat foods loaded with nutrients and gets a variety.

I don't take a multivitamin, but I do take D Drops (Vit. D), magnesium, potassium and coconut oil capsules.

I take quite a few vitamin gummies and rotate them plus Liquid Geritol , in fact I swear by them- they don't cause any weight gain for me or have any negative impact.
Some of the decisions are age related and imho the older a person is, the fewer nutrients absorbed from food.
Everything will depend on how healthy you feel without vitamins , I eat no fish so I take the Omegas ....how are you handling this?

I take a multi specifically chosen for its K2 and all the B's to help better absorb the D3 and B12 that I have actually tested low in. I don't like the smell, but it doesn't cause an issue for me. I've never considered the gummies because in my brain = candy.

I am solidly in the "nay" camp when it comes to vitamins. I stopped taking them a long time ago. I only agree when they are used to combat a diagnosed deficiency.
