The biggest struggle I have had is sticking to my paleo lifestyle over the past few weeks. I had to rethink why I am doing the lifestyle. I came to the conclusion that I started it to support my boyfriend not to better myself. That is why I have had more "cheat" meals. By changing my mindset, I have been more successful. In the end it is all about the right mindset and the reasons why you want to change.

Argh! Another gain. I know it's small, but it's very frustrating. I think I'm going to start measuring out my food again. That seemed to make a big difference when I was losing before. I didn't gain or lose in inches but am definitely increasing in strength. I think I'm going to really focus on my diet this week. That always makes the biggest difference. I may have been too flexible these last few weeks. I have to find my balance again.

I let myself go over the weekend. Went to dinner for my youngest son's birthday Saturday and then football food for the playoffs Sunday. Water retention I'm sure, but still need to get this butt in gear. I'd like to have at least another 1.5 lbs off by the end of this month.

I don't expect big losses. My goal at TOPS is 170. These are the last stubborn pounds. I just hope I don't gain while I am away on vacation.

I know this week's big loss is from being sick but I'm kinda surprised that I've had big losses because I stick pretty close to my goal and nothing much has changed. I know it will slow down soon though.

    0.8 lb loss this week.

I reached this weight last year and then bounced back up. Not this year! This is, however, the lowest I have weighed in years and it's less than a pound from breaking into normal BMI range. I think my brain and my body are trying to accept that I CAN break through this number. I'm excited for next week's weigh-in! :D
