I love sharing good news and just posted the following to my facebook page:
Four months ago, I began eating LowCarb/HighFat to both lose weight and improve my health. I just had my annual wellness check with my doctor. In addition to losing 24 pounds, I am really excited to share that my numbers have really improved in less than four months! One year ago, glucose was 117 now 89, Total Cholesterol was 207 and now 172, good HDL was 49 now 59, LDL was 129 now 103. I find it surprisingly easy to follow this way of eating. Even though I eat no carb foods (rice, potatoes, bread, sweets, breaded foods, etc.), I am surprised that I do not feel deprived and I don't see deviating from this in the foreseeable future
