Just thought I would share this, it came up on my news feed today. There are so many uses for bacon.

INGREDIENTS
• 1 pack of bacon
• 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate morsels
• 9 ounces of whiskey
• 6 mini pickles
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Turn a cupcake pan upside-down and wrap each cup with foil.
3. Place a wide piece of bacon over the bottom of the cup and wrap strips around the cup. Repeat until all cups are wrapped in bacon.
4. Tie a piece of twine around each cup to hold the bacon in place.
5. Place the cupcake pan on a cookie sheet and bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until the bacon looks crisp.
6. Let the pan completely cool before removing the foil.
7. Brush the inside of each bacon shot glass with melted chocolate and refrigerate until the chocolate has set completely.
8. Add shot of whiskey to every glass.
9. Garnish each shot with a mini pickle.
Serving: 6.

The seasonal skating rink in the woods has a refreshment stand that offers a shot of either whiskey or Eierlikor (think really strong, thin eggnog) in a warm homemade waffle cup. I admit I am tempted every time we hike through......

That sounds completely horrific! I love bacon, I love pickles, I love chocolate... and I'd have to sub the whiskey for gin or vodka because I hate whisky (sorry Scotland). But that's just not a yummy sounding combo.

I love most of those things separately but I cannot bring myself to trying them together.
