Hi everyone! I am almost 8 years postop and wanted to reach out and share a tiny bit of my story. My highest weight was 597, lowest was 239 and I'm currently at 260. I realize I've lost a lot, and my WL doctor and his staff say I'm successful because I've kept most of the weight off all of these years, but those 20 pounds I've gained back are haunting me. I would love to find some motivation buddies who have had WLS!

Hi there - had rny about a decade ago and lost 150lbs originally but over the last 3-4 years have allowed 70 of that to creep back on due to bad food choices, too much drinking and lack of movement. I'm back to moving more and eating well, and things are going on the right direction ...

All that to say, would love to have you as a friend! Add me!

Almost half your weight in 8 years? Your doctors are right, that is DEFINITELY a success! I think it's rare people get down to their "lowest" weight and keep it off forever. Celebrate your healthier, happier life. And look at all the other ways youve improved your health. <3:)
