Hi everyone!
I have just started the 5:2 diet this week and I am in my first fasting day... Struggling a bit with it so far, but I hope to stay within the 500 cal at the end of the day.
I do have two questions about the diet... On normal days, do you count calories or just eat balanced? And do you eat extra spent calories on fasting days (e.g. 500 cal plus calories burned in exercise)?

I just joined this group. I can't seem to lose these 20 pounds so, in addition to desperately trying to pay closer attention to what I log, I thought I'd give the 5:2 diet I go.
I started this week. Tuesdays and Thursdays will be my fasting days. On my normal days I will be counting. I don't want to overeat. And on fasting days I am going to try and not eat the calories I burn.
Are you still going strong?0
