I had an idea for my husband, but Im not sold on it. I found a tee shirt that says "Be nice to me, my wife is pregnant." So I could tell him I bought him a new shirt, can you go try it on? It would also work to announce to family...he could just wear it!
Not sure I love it though. I think I might let it slip, I'm terrible at keeping my emotions in and I feel like I might just explode with excitement at that kind of news, lol! I also love the idea where you buy a onesie, and wrap it up and give it to him.0 -
@Kirstie155 I like the shirt idea, it's cute. (the onesie idea is cute too) I really don't think you can go wrong with news like that though so anything you do will be perfect! I'm terrible at keeping things in too so I get it. haha0

My husband always jokes how he can't wait to fool our future children into believing ridiculous things (he has been trying for years to convince his niece that Jurassic Park is based on a true story). and having it wrapped up for him to open!
For family, I love the little onesies you can get on Etsy that say something like "I love my Aunt" or "Should I call you Grandma, Nana, or Granny, decide by XX date". Also, there are lots of cute coffee cups that say things like "grandma established 2017" that sort of thing.
OBVIOUSLY I've already put too much thought into this!!

I feel bad... I waved a pee stick in my husband's face and went with the standard "I'm pregnant" for everyone else lol. Creativity isn't my strong point. Spread-sheeting is!
I have a friend who put a hamburger bun in her oven and told her family to go on a treasure hunt lol.0 -
Haha, @jennamae102 that book idea is great! Ive been parosing pinterest today (a good sign that I will be obsessing about this since it has been less than 24 hours that we decided to start!)

YOU GUYS!! I have figured out how I'm going to tell Chris when I get a positive test
and its so frigging cute and perfect!
He has an obsession with socks and hats. He has THREE sock drawers, socks only. He has a bunch of beanie type hats he wears all the time when he is not at work, and scatters them around the house so he is never far from one. So...I ordered custom crocheted little bootie and beanie hat for a newborn! Im going to tell him I picked him up some socks, they are in the bedroom. And on the bed put a wrapped box, with a note underneath them that says something like "I wanted to get started on our collection now, since I'm sure Baby will collect hats and socks like Daddy!" Or something like that. "First of many sock/hat set", ect...

Here is the set. On its way to me today. What makes the whole thing even sweeter is that the lady who made them know both me and my husband when we met in MIDDLE SCHOOL. So its all connected and adorable. She has a business making crochet scarves and hats and things, she is so talented!

They came in the mail on Tuesday. They are so little and ickle and cute I had to hide them from myself. Cant wait!!0
