I do, sugarless of course. There is some studies that show sugar substitutes can cause insulin responses even though they won't result in raised glucose. If insulin goes up, fat metabolism goes down. Jason Fung talks about this in this book, "The Obesity Epidemic". It couldn't stop you from losing at least what a deficit would demand (the energy has to come from somewhere) but it might stop losses above what a deficit would demand.

I've enjoyed a stick of regular gum after my one meal, and it seems to help me stop eating.
