My Keto may be different than your Keto.

My Keto WOE has never involved peeing on a stick or adding copious amounts of mct to my coffee, granted I have lost 25lbs (1year Keto) but the health benefits/blood numbers are real. I know that I am fat adapted because I'm never rarely hungry at 110g fat, 85g protein, 16g carbs. 1600 calories in one meal a day, 6'1" ,54 yo. I walk and lift heavy things at the gym. My journey is a marathon not a sprint. Do what you do as it's your journey. Keto On!

@miltbrophy2463 Awesome reminder. Welcome.4 -
Yep. It's all a wonderful n=1/YMMV here in the Low Carber Daily group.
Welcome.
I did keto for 1.5 years, and now I'm LCHF at 100/120g per day for another half year. I'll hit my 3 year LC-anniversary in June.
If someone's journey doesn't start out roll-your-own, it almost always ends that way by the time they reach their goal weight. And why not, since EVERYONE has unique DNA, different health histories, and different lives. What works to achieve one's optimal health, works, period, right?
Congrats on your 25lb loss, OP.7 -
My 2 cents - I don't know any 2 people anywhere, ever, whose keto is exactly the same! We all have to modify and make it fit our lives and our bodies and our health. Kudos to you for doing what works for YOU.8

I'm using my cellphone right now. I'll share "my way" later. Right now I'm sitting in a waiting room while a friend gets a routine colonoscopy. That's one thing we do as we age-either get routine exams/procedures or assist when others do the same. I eat keto so I didn't need to stuff my bag with snacks and will survive a long wait for lunch.5
