Hello - coming back to the bacon-side! Breastfeeding question

Hi ladies and gents,
I was on here under a different user name (minties? something like that) in 2015, lost a great chunk of weight, about 88lbs/40kg between Jan-July while spending most of that time doing keto.
I messed up at some point, went back to carbs in a big way, got pregnant, was told by my dietician to include plenty of "healthy carbs" as I had gestational diebetes etc etc...ended up putting heaps and heaps of weight back on. I had gone from about 255lbs/115kg to 165lbs/75kg, then back up to 203lbs/92kg.
When I got back into losing weight again, I started on Christmas day last year. I was just eating whatever, but found I was stupidly hungry and my weight was yo-yo-ing. So this week I'm back at the low carb thing again and already feel great only after 2.5 days! Hunger levels are way down, I feel more awake etc.
However, I was wondering if there is a certain carb level I should be aiming for, due to breastfeeding? Baby is 6.5 months old and she is still mainly nursing and isn't that keen on solids yet. Is there any concern with ketones entering breastmilk? This is my tentative start:
Kilojoules 8100 (1934 calories)
Carbohydrates 73 g (15 %)
Fat 129 g (60 %)
Protein (121 g 25 %)
I'm 149cm/4'11", female and 34. Current weight 84.7kg/186lbs 11oz.
I'm lifting weights every second day, a mix of strength training and higher rep sets because, well, I like it. Squats, bench press, clean and jerk, bent over rows and deadlift. Adding snatch in some time soon. I enjoy eating a lot of protein anyway but would love to minimise muscle loss.
Also what form of magnesium was the most helpful? I started taking some yesterday as I felt flu-sih and it helped, but it was just some cheap rubbish.
Cheers!

It has been a while since I was nursing my son... but I have read that moderate lchf (at least 50 gr carbs per day) is fine. Read more here: https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb/when-breastfeeding
I like magnesium chelate.0 -

Welcome back! I second reading the diet doctor site---lots of great info there.
I am always hurting myself (klutz) and take frequent epsom salt baths. That's how I supplement magnesium0 -
Read through this:

No ketones won't get into your milk. I argue that if your supply is established and robust, as low as 50g carbs is fine. Should you have trouble, go higher. But generally speaking, the macros of the mother's diet are irrelevant. What ARE required: adequate calories, adequate hydration, and adequate electrolyte levels. The body will make good milk regardless, but if you let those 3 slip, then your supply and your own health may suffer to varying degrees.0 -
Ugh, this thing is being so dumb!
To finish, your plan looks good, OP.
Magnesium oil is good for spot treatment for cramps.
Check out the Electroltye thread under "FAQs and General LC Info" in the LaunchPad stickie. I'd link but like I said this thing is being a turd. I use mag glycinate personally, but in general chelated forms that end in -ate tend to be ok. Use caution with citrate as some people report gastric sensitivity.1 -
I wasn't Keto, but calories and water were the biggest factors for my supply. My kids didn't get too into solids until around a year so were EBF for 7 months and primarily BF longer...I totally get your concern about your supply0
