Hi, I am really glad you are here at this site and in the Ultimate Accountability Challenge, (UAC). I'm @RangerRickL, but from now on, just Rick.
This is a great team and a great group of folks who share their goals and accountability to follow the rules above regarding caloric intake; at least 20 minutes of energy consuming exercise; and tracking those factors.
It's not like most monthly challenges in that, it's really about changes in your lifestyle to achieve healthy goals.

Last month, 40 people signed in to be a part of the UAC. When February ended, several of the members were so successful that they used no more than 3 pass days. Many others achieved significant success even though they did not make it into the Winner's Circle.@2020pinktogo; @lovesretirement ; @pwrfl1; and @pears734.
Congratulations!!

Woo Hoo great job everybody!!!! Well today is ash Wednesday now my husband is one of those people we eat fish every Friday year round. Mainly because he's old and was brought up that way . 2 his wife is always eating fish or veggie meals. Except during lent during lent brings out the meat eater in me when whenever I'm not supposed to. These 5 Friday's and 1 Wed all I want is ham or chilli . Though I am taking in my car to be serviced and borrowing my dad's. If by chance my mom is making waffles I will stay for dinner if not at least we don't have any meat in the house lol.5

Thank you UAC Community. I'm down 6.5 inches somewhere between my neck and calves and 3 pounds. I'm within 3 pounds of my initial goal, but thinking I'll go another 5..... Happy to be seeing the changes on my body and health !!5

I think of lent as time to refocus on what is really important. Food-wise I am going try and eat that which is nutritious for my body. It's only 40 days!3

I'm down 3.5 pounds this month which put me in a different number bracket! I had been losing and gaining the same few pounds for MONTHS! I attribute my loss to changing my diet and going back to the basics of weighing, measuring, and logging. UAC was instrumental in keeping me focused. Thanks, Rick!5

I'm ready to begin again Here's my plan:
Already entered my food for today and am going to attempt to log my food at least a couple days to a week in advance this month, because I know I tend to stick to it better when it is planned out in advance.
Dropping my calories to 1450 for this first week, 1350 the following two weeks and then 1250 for the remainder of the month and will bring it back up in April.
Mapped out a basic workout schedule, Mondays and Wednesdays I have 45 minute Cardio Boxing class and Fridays I'm going to visit my favorite elliptical for an hour, the rest of the days I will do 20 minutes of one of the following walking hills, rebounding or jump rope. If I stick to schedule this should allow for 1045 minutes for the month of March
I'll be back later or tomorrow to check in for today.6 -
