Kathy, we are at 71F and sunny skies here. The East coast area is getting the snow we normally get this time of year. March is on track for our driest ever. Mind you we can still get a 2-3 footer before March ends. But so far, except for a cold wind, it has been pretty pleasant here.

So much so that I got my 7 day walking average steps to 11,200. I'm just a few steps shy of getting the 28 day average back to the 10K steps I am trying to reach.

Great job with your walking challenge! Re: our lovely weather, I am grateful we are getting moisture as it has been quite a dry winter. We are still in a drought situation here, so any precipitation is a good thing!

Ming1951, that is the trick, if you fall down you get back up and continue the Journey. Yea, YOU.

I got out walked early, did 3 miles at about 20 minutes per mile. Not too shabby. Then I putted in the yard all day, Mowed both on rider and push mower, did some weeding and sprayed grass for weeds. It felt good t o be out there doing things. It was a lovely day 80 degrees.

    March 22......10,357
Somehow I feel I let myself down yesterday as I've had a good week, but in reality I managed to meet my goal so its good.
On a side note my husband had cataract surgery yesterday so I was pretty much sitting at the place waiting on him most of the day, when I got home it was nearly noon, went to go for my walk but didn't finish as I was getting overheated, it was 85 degrees. Now I can handle heat but its better to work up to the warmer temperatures, gives your body a chance to acclimate. LOL. Today it will be warm again, I may have to take him for his recheck or he may drive himself. We shall see.

Well done. Waiting for surgery to end can blow a big part of the day. You still made goal that is the important part.

I have my 28 rolling days average back up to 10K+. So I am a happy camper.

    Yes you did great too.
    March 23.. 17,607 steps
March 24.. 17,942 steps. And fortunately I got my 10,000 steps in or today as the skies are darkening with heavy rains for today. But I feel good. I upped my walk to 4 miles the last 3 days, whew have to really make myself do that.. Two more weeks till my knee surgery so I want to push myself as much as I can so I don't lose too much while out of commission. But go figure this I gained a pound overnight. Hopefully its just water retention. Will shall see in the morning.

My 28 day average was 13,122 steps. I'll take it it was a 34% increase in my activity. Now April will be a new page...this week will be my TKR so I guess my steps will be off so I best get busy this week so I can stay close to being on track. LOL
