Newbie Questions

I just started the OMAD yesterday but noticed that by the end of the day I was barely hungry. Is this a normal response?
Also what is your position as soups/salad with dinner?
Should I be counting the calories in my meal?

Some people count calories and/or macro nutrients (prot, carb, fat), but I do not. I do try to eat 'carb conscious', which just means I don't stuff myself with simple carbs, but try to balance it out. Most days I am barely hungry. Sometimes a day comes around where hunger pangs return, but that is more of the exception than the rule. I almost always have a green salad with tomato and avocado or something similar with my dinner.

I have found that this description is pretty much accurate: OMAD timeline of changes

I've tried to get a protein shake in me 1st, then a salad, then small dinner, then maybe a small treat. I think you either do the one plate rule to limit cals or if you don't, eat stuff that is low cal 1st and the sugary stuff last or not at all. Joe has some good rules about drinks, etc.. that if followed should get you a deficit.
