Two more weeks to go. How is every one doing? I would be doing great if I was trying to maintain. Since I am trying to lose... not so good. How about a challenge this week? Lets give up 1 thing we love for the whole week and report back if it made a difference on the scale and how we felt.

I plan on giving up all types of chips (crackers, pretzels, corn chips). I have been snacking too much on these salty snacks.

Well after a rough few months I am back at the exercising. Only after the scale started to scream at me as it was inching it's way up. For 24 years I worked in a grocery store and food never bothered me. Had literally anything at my disposal. I am now working in a bank for 6 months and everyone is constantly bringing in goodies, pastries and candy to share. It is so hard to just walk by the dishes of food. I can't wait for spring when I can get outside during my lunch.

I have been visiting my buddy the vending machine. I will give it up. I don't do well with it there are days I think B3 then push C3 and that spot is empty and I get nothing. It's always when my one colleague is there and she laughs and goes you got the diet item again. I'm always nope I need it and pull out more change.

I'm going for no fast food or eating out this week. Not only could my budget use the break, but it's so easy to go over on fats and salt.

Hi all, i've been very busy these past weeks and haven't been able to prepare meals, go to gym enough etc; so this week my goal is to go back to weighing everything, go to the gym 3 times..get back on track... I hope this little bump in the road won't have ruined my motivation..working on it..
I'll give up my evening chocolat portion for this week :)

Didn't make my "resolution" to not eat out. It's just too hard with teenagers with busy schedules. We'll be out running errands, and realize we're all starving! I did make it to the YMCA several nights this week. One of my boys has been working almost every night, so we meet over there when he gets off work. We are working to establish healthy exercise routines so that when he goes to college this fall, we can avoid the "freshman 15!" (We recently saw a pic of a classmate who has gained close to 40 pounds. It was a bit of a wake up call for him.)

@tress29. My daughter did not gain the weight till her last year of college. Then she took up a wine course for the year. They ate and they drank and now she loves wine. Now she is in grad school still has the extra weight. She still drinks wine she Will be the death of me.
