Morning Ladies!

I've kept a list of all the websites I've been using in the last few months while TTC (my husband says I am "obsessed"!). Thought I'd share, and would be interested to hear about any sites that you've found useful.

My guilty pleasure - tracker for possible pregnancy symptoms in the two week wait. Lots of other fun tools like "extended due date calendar, which gives approx USS apmnts and when you'll feel the baby move, and a gallery of pregnancy tests to vote positive and negative on (gave me an insight into the different types and the ones I'd prefer to use)

I really like the following site for baby names. Shows popularity through time. There is also a name match section that spits out names "similar" to names you like.

Thanks @samlovesthesnow ! I have looked at the Ava bracelet and ended up ordering a tempdrop (https://tempdrop.xyz/)... I thought it was more useful? as it can be used for FAM and monitoring for ovulation while breastfeeding and after baby. Admittedly I ordered it while very much TTA and it will end up arriving this March just before we TTC oh well

@VeryKatie I also like baby name wizard, I actually used it for my research to help change my participants names i.e. name was Samantha, so I searched for similar names and chose Sally, etc!

I've also read I think every article on a few different personal blogs too. This one was really interesting, as it had LOADS of info about prebaby and TTC health and wellness. She also started a business selling clothing for pregnancy and breastfeeding which isn't typical maternity pieces, it looks great! (http://prebabyblog.com/2015/12/pre-pregnancy-check-list/)

Thanks @samlovesthesnow, great post! I was particularly interested in the gestational weight loss article- I often hear women say that they were told weight gain wasn't necessary due to their BMI of 30+, when this study shows there are risks to the baby for women with a BMI of <40 who lose weight during pregnancy...scary stuff! It really highlights the importance of expert advice during pregnancy. Thanks for sharing :)

So I was looking through all those links provided and found this image on hormones.

This makes a lot of sense to me. I was just telling my husband that I was feeling just a notch less happy lately. Progesterone is the same as used in hormonal birth control. And I always feel a notch less happy on birth control too. I don't think that I'll get unhappy or anything, but pre-partum depression is a thing too so it's always good to keep watch over your moods.
