LC options to eat with almond butter?

Hello!

I'm new to the group and need some recommendations. Before I went LCHF, I was eating a banana with almond butter every afternoon. It really helps with those afternoon cravings. But since bananas are 27 grams of carbs, I obviously need to ditch them now. What else is low-carb but I can eat almond butter with? I have half a jar left, and really enjoy it.

I know there are low-carb breads I could probably eat with it, but I'm trying not be reliant on those types of substitutes just yet.

I quite enjoy celery sticks with almond or peanut butter or cream cheese.

You don't really need anything to put nut butters on. Just eat the nut butter by itself and enjoy it! [shrug]

Celery - yes! Cucumber is nice too. I've even been known to steal two thin slices of my kid's apple, blob some almond butter in between and squidge it into a little 'sandwich'. If it's thin enough, it's about 2 carbs (I'm so boring I weigh everything).

Also as you become adapted to LCHF you may find your need to snack reduced.

Both of these. I used PB on celery as an afternoon snack/evening treat when I was first starting. But I really lost the need to snack after a while.

I also love it with celery sticks or just plain on a spoon. :)

I like my almond butter all by itself OR on pork rinds. :)

Celery, or just plain old by the teaspoon...

In addition to the previously mentioned celery or eating it plain using a spoon (but this option is dangerous for me), I like it mixed in Greek yogurt or cottage cheese.
