Weird Dilemma.. LC Foods For Nausea?

I had a situation yesterday and no idea what to do. I actually messed up and had bread. If I had been in the right mind, I would have had broth instead.
Basically, I tripped going down the stairs and sprained my ankle and foot. The pain made me super nauseated, where I was sure I was about to vomit. Usually I eat bread or something like that for stomach upset, which is what I did. I couldn't figure out what would help. It didn't even dawn on me to pour some broth, but I honestly couldn't even really stand, so I hobbled to the kitchen to grab whatever was closest. I live with my sister, and she had bread in the house. I only had half a slice, but still.
I was super disappointed in myself, but it brought up the question: what low carb foods are good when you have a tummy ache? Is broth the best option or is there something else that helps?

If I were nauseated, the last thing I would want to do is eat anything.
I guess the only times I've ever been nauseated were due to stomach flu though, which hasn't happened in years... so that's probably why I don't get the idea of wanting to eat anything while nauseated.
In the past, I would use bread to settle the phantom gall bladder attacks I would have about once a month, but those stopped happening the day I cut carbs. I imagine if it ever did happen again, I would probably just drink water, broth or try a little apple cider vinegar or something.0 -
