OMAD and perimenopause

Hi all, I started OMAD at the start of January and lost 12 in the first month. Since about the middle of Feb, I have stalled, my periods have stopped and my hair is starting to thin quite alarmingly. I've just turned 48, so it could be a coincidence.
What's worrying me is the various anecdotal evidence that OMAD and IF are not suitable for perimenopausal women.
I've had good results on 5:2 in the past, but found fast days hard, whereas OMAD has been easy because I'm just used to not eating now so I would love to be able to stick with it.
My next plan is to get more protein, drink some milk in the evening since I don't drink tea or coffee anymore and maybe even ditch alcohol completely.
Any other women in a similar situation?

Hi! I'm not in a similar situation so I'm hoping someone else jumps in with some nuggets of wisdom. That said, I think coincidence is definitely a strong possibility.0

Coincidence.
If your foods didn't change on OMAD since you started, you could divide up what you are eating into three squares a day and would see it won't make a difference. If you did change your foods, experiment a little more and you'd see the same result. Or, take supplements to help. Try Vitamin E and flaxseed. Estrogen patches are also an option.1
