So I started this fast on Tuesday evening. Drinking only water, coffee daily and kombucha and broth ocassionally.
I don't remember what I weighed when I started the fast but I know my weight has dropped almost daily since I started keto and definitely while fasting. Surprisingly I don't feel hunger even today.
There are "fast mimicking" diets out there. Here's there recommendations:
Day 1: Calories 1090 Carbs 34% Fat 56% Protein 10%
Day 2-5: Calories 725 Carbs 47% Fat 44% Protein 9%
I am not following that. I'm truly fasting. But I'm hoping to get through a 5 day fast so this weekend I plan to eat a small salad with avocado each day - and go back to full fasting on Monday. We'll see if I can pull that off. :-)
