I weight train quite a bit 5times a week plus running! Right now for a protein powder I'm using Vega Plus(in a smoothy).I don't think it has enough protein in it for muscle growth?! What protein powder do you use!! I'm looking for one with low carbs and no fake sugar!! I'm all about the Stevia :-)

I've used a few. I'm currently using Vega Sport Performance. This has 25g of protein in it. it's not bad, but i'm getting burnt out. Has stevia. I just recently found Tera's Whey. OMG it tastes so good! Comes in organic, grass fed, rgbh free, goat's milk too.
Check it out here - http://www.teraswhey.com/
It doesn't have as much protein as I'd like. I try to shoot for around 25g, but it's anywhere from 20-24 I think.
I've also done Jay Robb's whey and egg white proteins. Good taste, also use stevia, grass fed cows.
Ultimately I try to get my protein from food sources and supplement with protein powder, but don't make it a replacement for real food.0 -
Thanks for your input!! I think I'm going to go with the Vega Sport !!!!!0

I buy powdered egg whites which have nothing added. You can add them to everything. Way cheaper than the athletic stuff, no carbs.0
