Recovering from flu/stomach bug. What to eat?

All of the familiar things to eat when sick (chicken soup, crackers, applesauce, bananas) are high-carb. Any ideas of gentle low-carb things to eat until my stomach is back to normal?

Broth with butter is all I can think of right off...

Ginger ale? Crackers would be my go to. They calm my stomach and a few crackers would not ruin my ability to get back on track. ETA: I'm not diabetic so no problem there.

Soft scrambled eggs, ricotta cheese, broth.

Thank you. I nibbled on goldfish and finished my daughter's omlette. I may break low-carb and have a carrot ginger soup for dinner if I can tolerate it. I can always get back on track when my stomach is better.

This is my go to when I'm sick and think I may have trouble keeping food down. It seems to work for me:

    Feel better soon!

When I have an upset stomach, I take eggs, banana, and chicken soup (no noodles or dumplings). I also drink plenty of water, laced with AVC and bicarb of soda.
To be honest though, it must be at least 3 years since I even recall having had a tummy bug.
I'm not trying to be smug or boastful. I think, as I don't have kids (They bring home all kinds of different ailments from their schools!), but am equipped both with a cast iron stomach, and a husband who normally has an iron constitution, we're not prone to ailments of specifically this kind....

ginger kombucha...eggs and avocado...though I don't get stomach issues very often, those are things that seem to work for me no matter how terrible I feel...

Chicken soup is not high carb if you remove the noodles and cut down on the number of carrots. Broth is best to get back from a flu. The sodium is great to help you recover from the dehydration flu induces.

I was in the same boat as you 2 weeks ago - grand kids brought a bug when they came to visit and I caught it. All I ate for 2 days was Ritz crackers (they were the only thing besides water that I could keep down). Once my stomach had settled down, I went right back to low carb foods.
