I've come back to join you. Last month, one rest day turned into many missed days which then turned into total discouragement. But when I got the announcement e-mail about the LS Walk Challenge, I was inspired. I really want to see this 100 days through. I'm not going to pressure myself to do more than one mile a day. I'm just going to focus on creating a daily movement ritual and then see where I am in July.
To start it off, I did the old school WATP Get Up and Get Started. And, of course, because I hadn't moved in weeks, it was brutal!
The last time I was here, so many of you inspired me. To me, your monthly goals were so ambitious. I was envious. I have such respect for you all.
Welcome back! "I'm just going to focus on creating a daily movement ritual and then see where I am in July." - I think that is a good plan. I know in my experience, the more you do, the more you want to do. Going at your own pace and being consistent are key.

I would like to challenge myself to at least three miles per week for the rest of April. Tomorrow, is supposed to be a beautiful day, so hope I can go find a park or school with a track and get er done! I'm just starting out, so I'm on the slow and steady path.2

Well, I have been MIA for sure and not because I am walking a lot either! :grumble: I knew April was going to be bad because of all the online grading, but I did not realize how much of it there is. I need to assign less work for my students!! You guys are all doing so well and I feel like such a slacker!!! I am seriously going to try from here on out to at least stop and walk a mile every hour that I sit because I know sitting for hours on end is BAD for a whole lot of reasons. We'll see how it goes. Enjoy Easter!
Walk Strong Everyone

Hey Brenda. Good to see you. You do have a challenging or should I say punishing schedule! Yes, delegation is good. Lol. But, it won't be long before you are liberated and can call your time your own. Have good Easter.
