This week went OK, I seem to be losing around half a pound a week. Not ideal but at least the scale is moving. Happy Easter/Passover Good luck staying away from chocolate eggs.

5' 3" - 56 years old. Would like to get my hourglass back permanently and figure out what my daily calories need to be for lifetime maintenance. Currently keeping -500 daily. Right now it looks like the number will be around 1200 cal, so getting all the recommended nutrients will be part of the hat trick.

a new member and really need to lose between 10-20 pounds. I had my twins two years ago but just can't below 128#. I need to not pig out and night. Eat better. Drink more water and exercise regularly. I've tried to stick to my plan over the past 2 years but I just keep slacking off. I'm a mother of 4 kids, work a full time job and I love my food and I do love to exercise .but it hard to make time. I'm 5' 3. Need supoort and accountability buddies...
Period week and I've only know have 2 good days under my belt .. so I gained this week

Annoyed with myself that I've got back to my starting weight. Had husbands 40th birthday at the weekend and haven't tracked properly since 13th April, even though it's only 2lb gain I can actually feel it.
Need to refocus and lost these last 7lbs.0 -

Sorry for the self pep talk folks, but I need my Monday refocus talk with myself: I was really focused last week on running my first 5k. This week I need to re dedicate myself to diligently logging EVERY MORSEL and working out as much. Since people have noticed the 20lb loss and been complimenting, I can feel that weird self sabotage thing that I do creeping in. I will not let it ruin the momentum. Light, fresh and lean....June 1 is 8 weeks. I can be at goal weight by then. But only with laser focus.
Omg I know what you mean about that weird self sabotage thing creeping in. I feel my momentum might be ruined by my weak back but I'll have to make up for it somehow. I also have a goal weight in mind by June 14th. Laser focus come at us please! Lol
I do this too, it's crazy because it makes me unhappy. I want to be at goal by mid June too and stay there!!!

Gah, I need to get back on track! I'm maintaining not losing. Anyone care to share what they're doing? My calorie goal is 1500 but I often go over..which is the problem I get 10,000 steps a day and weight lift 2-3x a week.

I'm not doing great either. How about spreading your calorie allowance out over the week, so maybe the days that you mainly go over allow yourself more, then cutback slightly other days to make up for it? That's what I'm trying, I've had over a week off tracking so that's why my weight is going up!!1

Great idea! I mainly go over on the weekend so I should probably just cut to 1300 calories during the week or something.1 -

I originally lost 24# on MFP three years ago. Backslid while helping with sister & following year with daughter who were hospitalized & needing help. I am now going to get back on course to lose the 10# I regained

Haven't lost any weight yet but I've been pretty good this week with an hour of cardio a day and staying under my calorie goal .. so i feel good .. I'm gonna try to eat less carbs this week and add 30-60 mins more cardio daily and keep same calories in

While I did make my goal this month, I am disappointed as I am up 1lb from last week and 2.6 from yesterday. So, while I am certain that this is a weird water weight thing I am trusting th process. And am reminded why I check in on a monday. On to a new Month!0
