After going low carb last August, I have lost 25 lbs, am now in a healthy BMI range, and generally feel great. I just had my annual blood work done. Everything came out well except for my WBC count. I'm now low (3400 when my Dr. considers 4000 the minimum). I am a cancer survivor of 10 years and notice my past WBC has ranged from 3600 to 4400 in the past (the lower number was when I was with a Dr. who considered over 3500 "normal").
Does anyone have any experience with low carb eating impacting your WBC? Of course I am getting additional tests done with my Dr. and will be closely monitored. But I thought I'd also reach out to see others' experiences. Thanks!

Have you had any infections, a cold or anything recently?
I'm assuming you've had higher reading since your cancer treatment completed right?1 -
I've never heard of LCHF lowering WBC count. I'm not sure it is related. Hmm.1

@Dziasmith it is good you are working with your doctor to do more testing. Of all of the possible causes mentioned below LCHF was not mentioned.
