So, I went and weighed myself this morning, but before I do the reveal, I'll remind you where I'd started at.
When I started my weight loss path, I weighed in at 145kg (319lb). I immediately went on a mostly low carb, wheat free diet (mostly; I am human, so I have lapsed several times, but for the most part, I've been good) with a focus on decreasing my intake of sugar, processed foods, starchy foods, etc. When I last weighed in several weeks ago, I was at 138kg (304lb). That's a 7kg loss (or almost 15.5lbs).
Now, I have a very pessimistic view of my weight, because I never seem to get lighter, and I never seem to lose inches (judged by how tightly my clothes fit, by my face, etc.) which is why this weigh in surprised me.
Today, the scale told me I was 134.2kg (roughly 295.5lbs) with my clothes on. What did I do? I went home and weighed my clothes.
Yes. I went there.
Minus the weight of my clothes I am 133kg (just over 293lbs). That means I have lost 12kg (26.5lbs).
Apparently, I have been doing far better than I thought.
