Ok, so I know you hate the sound of her grating voice. And I know you're sick of hearing about her "best girls". But if you've been sticking to it, you should be on level two, and getting close to the mid point of your 30 day shred. Yes, she's annoying. Yes, that music is godawful. And yes, the workout is repetitive and boring.

But the point of this program isn't to give you a workout you'll want to do for the rest of your life. It's to kickstart you on your way to your fitness goals. It's to force your body out of its plateau (whether it's been there for three years or three weeks). And it's to help you build consistency and routine into your life.

I know some folks on here have said it would be great to use this as a life-long program. Honestly, I think I would go crazy and throw heavy objects at my television if I condemned myself to a life of that soundtrack and level of cheese.

But in 30 days, I know I'll look back over the previous month and be able to notice that my clothes fit better, my cardio is stronger, and my body is able to lift and push more with less effort. I'll know I can stick to a 30 day program. I'll know I can commit to working out at home. And I'll know that I can exercise, and exercise hard - that I can get my heart rate to 150 bpm without dying, and that I will feel awesome when my workout is over. I'll know that I can keep up, and if I keep at it, I will get better, stronger, faster, healthier.

I will know that I am worth at least 30 minutes a day. And that putting that before everything else makes me a better person - in every way.

Thanks for the inspiring post @joannezuk . I have felt I was alone at times in this challenge so it's great to see your post and know we are in this together. We will finish what we started with Jillian. Keep up the good work. Thanks for your comments.
