Anyone ever do Bodypump?

My gym canceled my Thursday spin class so now I just have my trainer but that's once a week at a different facility. I do spin in the most amazing spin bikes (they move), but the unlimited monthly pass is expensive-- and that plus what I pay a month to train with my trainer 1x/week leads to over $300/mo. Currently I am at around $250/mo. There is a gym not too far away that is $10/mo just for their facility and they have Les Mills Bodypump 2x/week. I would just get to work later (I get there between 6:45-7:15 most days). This new gym would probably get me to work around 8/8:15 or so.
Would really like to explore that as an option. Would wind up under $200/mo but it would allow me to buy a class pass so I can spin at my trainers place which would be awesome. One of the classes at my trainer's is a mix of strength training for one half and spin for the second half.
Curious to know who has done BodyPump before and what it was like?

@jcavanna2 REMIND ME LATER...I have a friend that does it and LOVES it. I've tried the Body Flow and liked it, but not the Pump. I'll get the info from her and get back to you. If I DON'T, please remind me.0

As someone who has no idea what to do in a weight room, I love BodyPump. They essentially go through every muscle group and you can add as much weight as you like to increase or decrease the difficulty.0

@NicoleL874 will definitely do that and @Bekah7482 thank you for that - do you do burped and running and stuff like that? I hate burpees and have to watch my knees which is why running/jogging and even jumping jacks are a pain in the a**0

No it is straight lifting with bars and weights. All low impact stuff. Really it's nothing aerobic. You just get into stance with the weights and lift and lower based on the instructors counts.0

That's awesome @Bekah7482 - stuff I am already used to doing but need to do more of! Love the strength training stuff0

I love that it is structured weight lifting. I am pretty lost in a weight room so the fact that they tell you what muscle group to do and at what weight and for what counts. It helps me a lot to make sure I am doing everything and doing it right. They are also playing music and make it fun.

I may -- gonna speak to my trainer first to see if they have any suggestions for pricing with them but before I commit to this other gym which does Bodypump I need to check out the facility.0

Hopefully the new gym (with Bodypump) will offer you a free trial membership so you can see if you like the class and if it will work with your schedule. I know how much it helped to find a location/class/community that worked with my schedule.0
