    oof, one of my huge pet peeves is people who saute with EVOO ... actually, my roommate has one of those infrared temperature guns so I think I might have to see how hot my pans actually get!

    Gives me a reason to avoid cooking with it (heh). Although I adore black olives, I'm not a fan of the flavor of olive oil by itself.
