Some of you may not count calories, but those who do, about how many calories a day do you have?
I ended up day with 16g carb, 99g protein and 160g fat which I am all happy with. But my calories were 1850?

I'm female, 63 and currently quite sedentary but even when more active ( just walking mostly) my maintenance calories (3 years) are only ~1500. Total calories are derived from grams. 16x4+99x4+160×9= 1850.

When I was losing I was about 1500kcal per day. I am a 40 something sedentary woman who was within 40 lbs of goal weight.

Maintenance is somewhere between 1800 and 2500 depending on my health.

Lately I am trying to lose again but closer to 1800kcal. I don't feel like putting up with an hunger right now. ;) Losses are very slow at 1800 for me.

About 800-850 calories per day. So far, so good.

I keep mine around 1200 +/-. I'm pretty little and a few extra calories affects me a lot.

Some people don't "count calories" but they still have to eat at a calorie deficit to lose weight. If you "count" your grams of fat/carbs/protein you are still in fact counting calories.

For me, I was losing weight for a long time eating 1700 to 1800 cals, now I can't eat any more than 1450. I'm 42, female, 5'10" and 186lb. I still have a ways to go but I have lost 87lb.
