I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Literally. I had onset hypertension. My blood pressure was 141/95 at rest. I started smoking cigarettes a year prior to Keto. I was tired even after 8 hours of sleep. I had to take naps everywhere I go. Movie theaters, cars, the breakrooms, couches, the restrooms, etc. I had severe sugar cravings to a point it was never satisfied. That leads to long term problems. My back was hurting when I slept. I have a list of other issues. I took a stand for myself and stumbled across the ketogentic diet. I loved the initial results. I disliked the initial side effects. (Keto Flu) Eventually I got past it and started to overcome my negative spiral.

I've been on the weight loss journey for a good year, lately I just am maintaining and not really losing which happens I know as you get closer to goal and I was just kind of in a rut food wise so I really wanted something to shake things up and get things moving on the scale again, my exercise is fine, my inches are being lost all the time, so I know I am technically losing but you know you like to see the scale move again. So I stumbled upon keto and have been reading about it off and on for about 6 months, finally took the plunge.

Your old self is proud of you. She is smiling with joy.
