    Generally speaking, they are for already lean people trying to get leaner, usually in the context of a bodybuilding or fitness competition. These people are trying to sidestep the metabolic and hormonal issues that come along with a low calorie/carb diet by having periodic, controlled periods of higher carb intake.

    Hmmm. I guess I've been doing it wrong. I've been having refeed days every day and haven't been getting any leaner at all :huh:
