I started Crossfit on July 1st. It very quickly became apparent that I'd never succeed at it on a VLCD. At this point, I'm losing inches and getting stronger and having a grand time basically ignoring the scale.
This week I've started going 5x/week instead of 3x/week, which ups my weekly exercise from 3 hours/week to 5 hours/week (plus a bit, I'm a SAHM and chase my kids all day and CF makes me more likely to get up off my butt other times). I upped my calories accordingly, and am now supposed to eat about 2500 calories/week.
O.O
I can do this, right? I can trust that I need to fuel my body to be healthy?

Absolutely! You sound extremely active - 2,500 does not sound high at all. Eat, train hard and enjoy!0
