    I don't buy it, at least not yet.

    At this point I don't think a particular meal pattern or timing has surfaced as being superior.

    As with anything, who knows what we will have for research several years from now. At this point I wouldn't concern myself with it.

    Yes, even if the hypothesis generated from that one study turns out at some future time to be accurate, that would not be likely to outweigh the benefit of adherence gained from following one's own patterns and preferences.

    It would have to be such a monumental advantage for it to trump adherence, and were that advantage to be that large, I bet it would show up in the research over multiple studies examining various meal distributions. So far that's not been the case, which leads me back to it probably doesn't matter enough to worry about =)
