@Kar: Too funny girl but I have been there so I get the visual. Only thing worse is cold wet rain.
Very true! One time I was out and the skies opened up. There was nothing dry on me. I was a block from home, crossing to the other side of the street and a woman makes a turn, stops right in front of me - close enough where I had to keep from walking into her car - to ask if I wanted a ride. I appreciated the gesture, but we did almost collide and I wouldn't drench a stranger's car unless I was miles away.
Today was 3 miles between treadmill running and walking laps before TRX class.
I was training for a half last year when it started raining at mile 7 of a 12 mile run. I thought I could suck it up for another 2 miles to where I would reach home. Fortunately my hubby was tracking me on eCrumb and drove out to ask me if I wanted to come home. I took him up on it. I was losing body heat fast and my vest was becoming saturated. It was draining the heat from me. I have only experienced that on two long runs and it is not fun.

You are still doing so great. I was not nearly doing what you have done after my surgery. I am way down since my heel issue. I am just happy to be able to be running again. A slow rise back is better than none.0 -

I sure hope you can get some relief. I thought of you tonight when I was running. My heel was sore on the "better" leg. I'm hoping it is because that leg/foot/knee is doing most of the work in the past 7 weeks or so! I actually don't have clearance to run from dr yet but my knee feels pretty good.0 -

I don't usually post miles the last couple of days if I am already over goal, but I happened to be on here getting ready for June. Sorry for the extra entry on the spreadsheet.1 -
@vhuber - The Runners World Streak is just a motivational tool to keep people running between the spring and fall race seasons. This is the link to the website: http://www.runnersworld.com/rwrunstreak There isn't any place to log unless you want to go to their facebook page and you don't get anything except satisfaction (and fitness) from completing it. There is a T-shirt but it's not free. So just set your start date as June 1 and go for it! If it's motivating you it's working.
I got in a 1 mile run yesterday to keep my streak alive and I'm getting ready to go out for day 4 now. That leaves me at 76/75 miles in May. See you all in June!1 -
