My calories changed?

So i started MFP at 333 lbs. My calories were 1700. I have since lost 44 lbs.
Today my calories are suddenly adjusted to 1500. I get that as i lose weight, my calorie allowance goes down but does mfp adjust automatically?

Yes at certain points it updates, you can always go into your settings and see what else may have changed... And then adjust it0

hmmm. I didn't know that. I haven't noticed mine changing, but I set mine about 100 less than what mfp says I should eat - would that be why?0

I read an article that said they do it after a 10 lbs weight loss, butnim thinking for most people that wont change much. I only had mine actually change once after i lost 30 lbs.1
