Does anyone eat Jimmy Moore keto macros?
5% carb, 15-20% protein, 75-80% fat
If so what are your go to meals?
What do your meals look like when you dine out?

I don't anymore. I started out that way 2 years ago and I certainly lost weight. I feel best and have had the biggest body changes, even without additional weight loss, upon eating more (not high) protein and slightly less (not low) fat.
I honestly started questioning why Jimmy hasn't made more progress on his insulin resistance and weight loss. He's even begun to gain weight more recently and it seems like he's struggling to take his success so far to the next level.
I honestly wonder if he's sacrificed muscle and metabolism a bit. He started being more active by working on a garden and keeping chickens and such when I believe he was never into any exercise before. Not that I even think a person has to do that. I just wonder if he's not recognizing a greater need for protein and that a lot of added fats to already high fat foods isn't as innocent in his lack of further progress improving insulin resistance as he thinks.
I think he's great. I'm totally a fan. He says all the time he doesn't have all the answers. I think this just happens to be an area he hasn't considered may need some tweaking.2 -
Thanks Sunny_Bunny. I just finished reading Keto Clarity. It wss highly recommended on these boards. I am overwhelmed with making easy meals to fit these macros.
I think I need to experiment on my own to find which macros I can sustain and still derive keto benefits.

I think the %-based formulas tend to lead us astray.
In simple terms, figure it how much protein you (personally) need, keep the carbs way down, and add extra fat only as necessary to feel good and not be hungry.
But as @Sunny_Bunny_ suggests, don't skimp on the protein!

Just keep in mind that it is the limiting of carbs that is keto. Not the consumption of high fat. It's also not necessary to limit protein like you will constantly see advised. The lower the carbs the more protein you actually NEED.
So keto can be a bunch of different ratios as long as carbs are under 50g total, possibly need to be even less for lots of people.1 -
Very helpful guys. I'll focus on keeping my carbs in check.1
