Aha! My Olympic distance triathalon completed at heaviest competing weight ever. So back to basics in nutrition with new training plans. Next triathalon in 3 weeks... would like to drop some weight...

Sorry to have been absent! I spent last week in Minnesota again, but this trip was very different than the first. I had a horrible head cold and did almost nothing while I was there! Every day after class, I'd go back to the hotel and lay down. Self medicating per advice from the pharmacist. Just no energy, therefore not much interest in food, good or bad! My blood sugar was up most of the week, probably a combo of not caring about what I ate, and being very inactive. (Increasing your activity helps prevent highs.)
Have an appointment this afternoon with my regular guy. Need to kick this bug as graduation is less than two weeks away, and there's a ton of stuff I have no energy to do!0 -
So sorry you are sick! My food intake changes to pure comfort food carbs and diet coke when i am sick... hope your doc can get you back on healthy track0

I'm taking an antibiotic, drinking more water, and sticking closer to my calorie goals. Steps/activity are hit or miss, but I'm working on it!1

Good for you tress29! Tough to stay on track when sick...or tired..or stressed out...or just Life sometimes....i am off today studying recipes for adding avocado to my life...trying to add healthy fats0
