playlists eh? Fitting since I spent all day yesterday trying to find good work out songs :) It's not easy when you like country apparently! LOL so does anyone have some good country work out songs?

Great minds think alike! I spent an hour yesterday downloading a few tunes to rev up my workout. Was sick of my own collection as jazz isn't always an energizer. Anyhow, I discovered Latin jazz (Brazilian sambas to be exact) at Amazon - they are utterly fun and a little sexy! There are thousands!

    Groovy Slammer
    Samba Selvagem
    Sambacanuta
    Maracuteira

Makes me wanna dance! Yippee! Maybe I'll sell my treadmill for samba lessons!

avalons - i love country music & thought the same thing, however i just spent 16 hours driving in my car yesterday & heard a ton of more fast paced songs - i was driving so i couldn't make notes yet see if you can find/check out:

    done
    not my mama's broken heart
honky tonk bedonk a dong (?)
    chatahoochi

i'm not sure about the spelling or the titles & there were more, i just can't remember them right now. put on a more modern country music station & listen for the faster beat & i think you'll find a ton.

:) thanks. I think I have the first one and I know I have the second one. I know the third one but it's not really my style :) and I'll have too look that last one up. Personally I like not my mamma's broken heart! It's by Miranda Lambert and I saw the music video for it the other day and honestly all I could was laugh at the pissed off insane face she makes while stabbing at her plate of food. I have no idea why but it struck me as absolutely hilarious! LMAO!

I'm not really a country fan but I loooove Reckless Kelly. Some fun upbeat songs. Another band that I haven't heard from since the 90's and maybe not exactly country is The Refreshments.

So part of my favorite playlist:
    Beautiful- goldfrapp
    Strict machine-goldfrapp
    Control- Poe
Too too too fast- ra ra riot
    Mexican dogs- Cold War kids
Kid on my shoulders (or anything else by white rabbits)
    Flux- bloc party
Live tonite die forever- inner party system
    Like eating glass- bloc party
Because we can- fat boy slim
    Beggin- Frankie vallie (pilooski edit)
    Anything by Thom yorke.

-My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark(Light Em Up)
    -Thanks for the Memories

    plus others

My daughter likes them, but my husband and the boys think Mom has lost it.

I shared this with a (real world) friend and thought it might be beneficial to the group as well.

I find that I'm most successful and consistent with my eating/exercise when I plan it out.
Not just mentally say, "I'm going to eat on plan tomorrow and workout after dinner".
I have to physically sit down and put pen to paper and have a visual of what that plan looks like.

I use MFP to plan EXACTLY what my meals will be for the next day or two in advance. This helps to keep me within my macros.
When I pack my lunch the evening before, I dont put anything into my bag that isnt on my food list for that day.

As for working out, I set my clothes out the day before (or make sure my workout bag is packed) so that I dont "forget" someting and give myself an easy excuse to forego a workout.

August 1 was a reset for me. Over the last few months, I'd been off-plan and offhanded in my weightloss approach and the scale went up as a result. In just the first few days of being consistent and planning things out, I've lost weight and feel motivated.

Hopefully this works for you too!
