So, I'm totally new to this. I have lost over 100 lbs in the last year doing cardio. In the past year I didn't do any weights (shame on me!) Now I can't even lift half of what I could before. Going from 299 to 190 I lost a lot of muscle. So I'm looking to start back. Losing so much weight I need to focus on my "batwings" lol and my thighs the most. I'm not scared to bulk up a little like a lot of women are. Honestly I like that look. So what should I do? How often? Do I do legs one day then arms the next? Do I mix cardio in with it? Before strength training is it best to eat before or after? I'm so lost! I have 50 more pounds to lose but I need to get stronger!

I would definitely start by following an established program.

Also, you can do cardio on the same day or opposite days but just keep in mind if your priority is strength training, you don't want to fatigue yourself with too much cardio that it impairs your ability to lift.
Meal timing doesn't really matter, I would eat when it is convenient for you, helps you adhere to your deficit and gives you the most optimal performance. For me that is a small snack before, and a meal following my lifting sessions.2 -
First, congrats on your weight loss!! I can't provide much advice because I only used my 5lb weights when I initially lost 80 lbs. I have since gained some weight back and want to get back in shape and that included doing some "real" strength training. I just hired a personal trainer for a month to get me comfortable with weight training and to create a personalized training plan for me. I tried searching online for a plan, but I knew for this, I would need some personal attention. I'll let you know how it goes.0
