So i go to "Fat Blast Bootcamp" run by this retired NFL football player. Each week has a theme. This week it is "What is your why?" So basically...everyone HAS to have a reason and motivation for wanting to commit or else they will not be successful.
It got me thinking about my "Why".
Thought it would be motivation, inspirationa, and a good self reflection and reminderl to share our "why's"
Mine are (not in order of importance)
1. Be a healthy example to my daughter and students (youth) that I teach. I bring up my "hobby" up in conversation and write about it a lot during model writing with my kiddos.
2. to feel the success of completeing something I started
3. to inspire others
4.I love the way it makes me feel (after the workout...not always during)
5. So I can hopefully live a long healthy life with my family
6.Self confidence.
7. Lose 10 lbs of fat and get lean muscle mass.

Always a Great topic. I am a 42 year old mother of 1 daughter who is 17. I have battled with image issues all my life and started to see my daughter doing the same thing. In the fall of 2012 I was my heaviest and was unhappy in several aspects of my life. My daughter had gotten P90X as a gift and really wanted me to do it with her, so I did. I was hooked, even though my daughter decided to join a gym instead of finishing P90X with me. So here are my WHY's!
1) Be a good role model for my daughter.
2) Inspire others especially my age that it isn't to late to get in shape and improve your life.
3) Make a difference.
4) More self confidence.
5) Fit back into my old clothing (size 8 & 6)
6) Be healthy
7) Live a long healthy life.0
