Tips for getting through a GI bug? What to start with when I can eat a bit again?

I've been drinking lots of broth, and can stomach some mashed potatoes... obviously not low-carb percentage-wise.

Can you do eggs? Egg drop soup is pretty good for that. I've used it.

I just went through this a couple of weeks ago. When I could finally eat I had 1/4 of a salted avocado and 2 soft boiled eggs

We just got over that. The first thing I ate after was a half a piece of toast with butter. After that I made chicken soup with vegetables and ate that a few times. Now I'm back to my regular stuff. Hope you feel better soon!

This steamed egg recipe is very soothing, has a soft custard like texture: http://thewoksoflife.com/2015/01/steamed-egg/
