Seriously, Weight gains always mess with my head. I feel like I'm back in my old body. I have never had a weight fluctuation like this. The day after my Marathon I weighed 134. three days later I'm 144. I have heard that your body pulls as much fluid to rehydrate after a long run, but this is insane. I'm back to basics to get the weight down. I want to get to 125 or 130. The work begins.

I'd imagine running that distance puts a strain on your systems. You body is holding on to water while it heals and recuperates. You did not gain 10lbs in 3 days. Get back to your normal eating routine, rest, and give it some time.1

Bodies do some weird stuff. I'm sure things will even out soon... because you're killing it!1

I gain 8 lbs from one slice of bread. The body can absolutely draw that much weight from itself. Deep breath, focus on healthy eating, and give it a week.1
