New to all this

I am 48 and new to this. I have been overweight all my life but this is the most I have ever weighed. At 292 pounds, I knew that something had to happen for me to be here for my family. Funny, how not eating meals you think you would lose weight when the opposite happens. SO, starting today, I am making myself eat more often, especially breakfast which is the meal I usually don't have. With my meal already diabetic friendly, once I make sure I am eating at the right times and the right things then I think I will beginning to see that downward slide.

I don't exercise much due to recent knee surgery that I am slow recovering from and now with asthma. So, once again hoping to get my weight down and these issues for medical conditions go away... I would love any ideas on meals as well as encouragement from anyone and everyone. I am a great person to get to know.

Oh yeah, I live in Sunset, Utah.
