Supportive Land Based Exercises For Improving Swimming

Hi all,
Do any of you have specific exercises you do to support or improve your swimming? I'm curious to know if people do things on land for better results in the water. I enjoy swimming but think I'll want to improve shoulder flexibility if I want to incorporate more backstroke into my routine. I'm looking for exercises to help with that and imagine that other things might be really beneficial and supportive of what I'm trying to achieve in terms of overall fitness and flexibility. Would love to know what people are up to.
Take care

Hi
These are the exercises my coach has given me and they are done in one set of 3 4 5 6 7 reps with 5 seconds in between if that makes sense. I am meant to do this twice a week (been slack but starting again on the weekend!)
Pullups (machine assisted for me)
Dips (machine assisted)
Bench press
Bench pull
Half clean
Squats
Triceps pushdown
Straight arm pushdown

I have slacked off too... but I was doing You Are Your Own Gym (bodyweight program). It was definitely helping. I run and hike too. I also do a cardio fitness class in deep water. There's a lot of core work that really helps my swimming. But the bodyweight was definitely the best thing. Just couldn't figure out how to fit in all of the swimming I wanted along with 4-5x a week program...2

Emma's program looks pretty good especially for shoulder and back strength.
Core workouts are really fundamental for swimming so any kind of You are your own gym workouts like the one girlswithcurls2 does is useful too.
I do a bit of both. I try for twice a week but don't always manage to find the time

My mate who was training for the Channel swim was told by her coach that Yoga works wonders for improving swimming technique and speed.1
